"God's Greatest Gift" By Michael Reed December 25, 2011a.m.

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

The greatest gift that anyone could ever recieve is the gift of eterneal life. God has made that gift avalible to every person, by giving His Son Jesus Christ to died on our behalf.
God so Loved that He Gave!

"How Much Should I Give" By Michael Reed December 18, 2011 (Click to Listen)

A question that often comes up is "How Much Should I Give?". The Law of Moses was very explicit (tithing commanded of Israel).  The New Covenant is not as explicit (there is no command for Christians to tithe). Yet Christians are not left without assistance regarding giving.
1 Corinthians 16:1-2
16 Now about the collection for God's people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. 2 On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made. NIV

"2nd John" by Michael Reed December 11, 2011 p.m Service (Click to Listen)

The Elder (John) gives some important advise to all who know the truth because of the truth 1)We should always be concerned about the faithful walking in truth. (2)Let us lend instruction and encouragement whenever we can. (3) False doctrine will condemn.(4) Let us abide in the doctrine of Christ, and let us have no fellowship with those who do not do so.

"A New Creation" By Michael Reed, From 2 Corinthians 5:17 on December 11, 2011a.m. (Click to Listen)

A New Creation

According to 2Co 5:17, a great change takes place in the life of one who is a Christian:
2 Corinthians 5:17 says "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" NIV
But what does this change mean?   What position does this "new creation" hold in the eyes of God?  What type of life are we to lead? How does this change affect are relationship to things pertaining to one's old way of life? In Paul's epistle to the Ephesians, we find the answers to such questions.  Look at Ephesians chapter 2:1-5

"Believing A Lie" by Michael Reed from 1 Kings Chapter 13 December 4, 2011 a.m. (Click to Listen)

1 Kings 13:11-19
Now there was a certain old prophet living in Bethel, whose sons came and told him all that the man of God had done there that day. They also told their father what he had said to the king. 12 Their father asked them, "Which way did he go?" And his sons showed him which road the man of God from Judah had taken. 13 So he said to his sons, "Saddle the donkey for me." And when they had saddled the donkey for him, he mounted it 14 and rode after the man of God. He found him sitting under an oak tree and asked, "Are you the man of God who came from Judah?"
"I am," he replied.
15 So the prophet said to him, "Come home with me and eat."
16 The man of God said, "I cannot turn back and go with you, nor can I eat bread or drink water with you in this place. 17 I have been told by the word of the Lord: 'You must not eat bread or drink water there or return by the way you came.'"
18 The old prophet answered, "I too am a prophet, as you are. And an angel said to me by the word of the Lord: 'Bring him back with you to your house so that he may eat bread and drink water.'" (But he was lying to him.) 19 So the man of God returned with him and ate and drank in his house.

God's Questions to Adam & Eve by Michael Reed November 20,2011a.m.

We can learn much from the story of Adam and Eve in the first few chapters of Genesis.  Adam and Eve were our first parents.  This is our beginning.  This is how we got here. Adam and Eve sinned and from that time the plan of redemption was put into motion.  At first, man was in a beautiful paradise and had close communion with God.
However, all of that was lost and can only be regained through Christ in eternity.
In this lesson I want to discuss only a small portion of the story of Adam and Eve.
I want to look at the questions God asked Adam and Eve after they had sinned.  God, being infinite in wisdom, asked some very thought- provoking questions.
