Jesus began His public
ministry by preaching, proclaiming the gospel of
the kingdom of God - (Mark 1:14). That the time was fulfilled,
the kingdom of God was at hand - (Mark 1:15a.) That people needed to repent
and believe the gospel -(Mark 1:15b). As He did so, He also called
people to become His disciples. Calling them to follow Him, Offering to make them
"fishers of men".
